Launchpad Mentorship

Career goals, technical skills, and a real project to finish.

Ages 14–18 · 6 months · 1:1 pairing · Free

What it is

Launchpad Mentorship pairs girls aged 14–18 with women working in aerospace for a 6-month, 1:1 mentorship. Each pair works toward a real project — a career plan, a technical skill, a piece of research, a presentation. Not theory. Something that gets finished.

Mentors are matched on discipline and ambition, not availability. If we cannot match you well, we hold your place until we can.

What mentees get

  • Career goals, defined and pursued with someone who's done it
  • Technical skills — from coding to satellite imagery analysis
  • A real project to finish and present
  • A community of peers across 12 countries

Mentor requirements

Every mentor is vetted before they meet a young person.

All mentors undergo background checks and reference verification before pairing with a minor. Mentors commit to a minimum of 2 hours per month for 6 months. Both sides can end a pairing without explanation, and we re-match within a month.
